Overview

JobedgeAi is an interview preparation platform that helps people practise explaining their real experience clearly, without inventing a story. We designed and engineered the product end to end, from the Laravel and PostgreSQL backend to the front end and the Python-assisted AI practice flows.

What we built

A complete SaaS product with four core preparation modules and three subscription plans.

• Role-context intake and AI mock interviews
• CV and role comparison, grounded in what the candidate has actually done
• STAR story bank and application tracking
• Explorer, Professional and Career Plus plans, with Microsoft Teams coaching for Career Plus members

Our process

• Discovery: mapped job-seeker workflows, interview anxiety points and truthful-preparation principles, so the AI never invents unsupported claims.
• Product design: defined the practice flows, CV comparison, STAR story bank and coaching paths.
• Engineering: built on Laravel and PHP with PostgreSQL, an HTML and CSS interface, and Python-assisted AI feedback for role-specific practice.
• Launch: shipped all three plans live at jobedgeai.com in June 2026.

The result

JobedgeAi is live at https://jobedgeai.com. Candidates practise role-specific interviews, strengthen their CVs responsibly and book human coaching when their plan includes it. AI feedback can be reviewed, kept or discarded, so the candidate always stays in control.
