A 6-month remote contract leading delivery on client software projects. You will turn client goals into clear, buildable work and partner closely with our engineers, so strong technical skills are a must.
Loob Design is a software agency building websites, web apps, mobile apps and custom software for growing businesses. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own delivery on our client projects for a 6-month contract, working fully remote with our designers and engineers.
This is a hands-on role. You will not just manage timelines: you will understand how the software is built, talk confidently with engineers about trade-offs, and turn what clients ask for into clear, buildable work.
The role at a glance
- Contract: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
- Location: Remote
- Pay: GH₵3,000 per month
- Reports to: Founder
What you will do
- Turn client goals into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Plan and run sprints with our engineers and designers, and keep the backlog prioritised
- Work with engineers on technical approach, estimates and trade-offs before work starts
- Write and review API and integration requirements, data flows and edge cases
- Test releases, track bugs and make sure what ships matches what was agreed
- Keep clients updated with honest progress reports, demos and release notes
- Spot risks early (scope, timeline or technical) and propose ways forward
Technical skills we need
- Solid understanding of how modern web and mobile apps are built: front end, back end, APIs and databases
- Comfortable reading API documentation and testing endpoints with tools like Postman
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, and familiarity with frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Basic SQL, so you can check data and answer your own questions
- Experience with Git and GitHub, pull requests and release workflows
- Understanding of cloud hosting and deployment (for example Vercel, AWS or similar)
- Able to write clear technical specs and draw simple architecture or flow diagrams
- Experience with Jira, Linear, Notion or similar tools for planning and documentation
What you bring
- 2+ years in product management, technical project management, or a software engineering role
- Experience shipping web or mobile products with a development team
- Clear written and spoken English, and confidence working directly with clients
- Self-managed and reliable in a remote setup, with steady overlap with GMT working hours
Nice to have
- A background as a software developer or QA engineer
- Experience at an agency or working across several client projects at once
- Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma
